The resources include engineering/R&D resources, marketing efforts and operational.
Portfolio management helps to Maximize value of product portfolio in terms of Financials, and Market situation. It also helps to optimize and balance the product mix in terms of number of products, products with short term and long term perspective and efficiency of distribution of risk-reward across the portfolio.
It also helps in alignment with company’s strategic goals with effective utilization of resources to optimize returns on investment.
